Have you ever seen a reverse water fall? You can in this enchanting city, the commercial, industrial and transportation center of New Brunswick. Rich in history, this nearly 400 year old harbor town is located at the mouth of the Saint John River on the Bay of Fundy. It was originally a French trading post before coming under permanent English rule in 1758. And by the way, the reversing falls of the St. John River are due to the exceptionally high Fundy tides.
