As you navigate through the Bacaderra Channel, you will have a spectacular view of Aruba's Barrier Reef. Once you reach the protected waters of Manguel Halto Beach, you will have the opportunity to accompany a guide out to the reef for a close look of this natural wonder and its inhabitants. After a relaxing swim or snorkel, enjoy a snack of fresh fruit on the beach before making the trip by kayak to the Spanish Lagoon for the relaxing return via air conditioned transport to your ship.

Your 2 hour adventure begins at the Seaport Village Marina located in downtown Oranjestad when you board Atlantis' double deck twin- engine catamaran "Dorado". Sit back and enjoy the 30-minute cruise to the submarine dive site. Enjoy a refreshing drink on the upper deck while you view Aruba from a different angle. Five miles from the South East coast of Aruba you will board the Atlantis VI Submarine for your 1 hour thrilling dive to either the mysteriously sunken airplane or the retired Danish sail boat "Mi Dushi I" together with the newly sunken coaster "Morgenster". Along with these fascinating wrecks, you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the exotic marine life while diving to depths up to 150 feet. Be amazed by colorful schools of tropical fish, huge sponge gardens and the mystical beauties of the coral fields. The educational narration of our professional crew will highlight this unique experience. All of this is in air-conditioned comfort without getting wet!

Don't miss the breathtaking experience of scuba diving in Aruba. You will be taken from the cruise terminal to one of the resorts on beautiful Palm Beach, where you will be provided with all equipment as well as the basic theoretical information on Scuba Diving in the Hotel pool. When you are done with this session, you will be taken on a boat to a shipwreck, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful underwater world. You will dive in small groups with an experienced instructor. After the dive you will be returned to the Pelican Pier where you will be able to enjoy the white sandy beach and a tropical ambiance at a gentle pace.

You will be taken from the cruise terminal to the "Pelican Pier" which is situated on the famous Palm Beach, where you will be provided with tank, weights and weight belt. Afterwards you will be taken on a panoramic boat ride to the dive site where you will share the breathtaking experience of Scuba Diving in Aruba. Come face to face with a piece of the history of the island when you dive the "Antilla", a German freighter sunken during World War II. At the end of the dive you will return to the Pelican Pier, where you can enjoy the white sand beach. Note: Transportation back to the cruise ship is not provided. This dive is only for certified divers. If you do not have any of your own equipment with you, you can rent all needed equipment for an additional of $8.00 payable at the dive shop. If you need additional equipment, take your credit card as a refundable deposit. Remember to take your certification card with you.

During your two-tank boat dive, you will visit the "Antilla" wreck and "Arashi" reef or the "Pedernalis" wreck. The dive sites are characterized by beautiful ship and airplane wrecks, prolific coral reefs and a multitude of colorful tropical fish. A Red Sail Sports representative will meet you in the cruise terminal and escort you to the dive boat. Tanks along with scuba gear will be prepared for you, as well as a thorough dive briefing will be given before commencing the dive with the guidance of your professional dive master and instructor. After the dive tour you will return to the cruise terminal.

Your "De Palm Island Adventure Tour" starts with a 20-minute ride by deluxe motor coach from the cruise terminal to "Port de Palm" where a ferry awaits to take you to your own private island paradise. Upon arrival at De Palm Island you are welcomed by a courteous staff with a refreshing drink. Snorkel in the most breathtaking coral area in the Caribbean or just enjoy swimming in the beautiful turquoise water. Experience the full beauty of Natural Aruba. After boarding your air-conditioned bus at the dock, you will make the scenic trip to Aruba's number one ecological attraction, The Butterfly Farm. The farm is an unforgettable encounter with nature in all its diversity. Observe the lifecycle of these fascinating animals from eggs to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly. Your expert guide will tell you all about the butterfly's habits and the miracles of metamorphosis. The Ayo Rock Formation is where you will see the huge boulders that form the "Ayo rocks" depicting the origin of Aruba, formed by volcanic activity. Traveling on, you will pass countless divi divi trees and cacti before arriving at the spectacular Natural Bridge. Rising 25 feet above sea-level and stretching across one hundred feet of untamed waters, this natural wonder has been carved of solid coral by the relentless pounding of the surf. You will then visit the Gold Mill Ruins at Boca Mahos where you will have the chance to explore the ruins. The excursion ends with the scenic drive to Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba, where you may be dropped in town for shopping or returned to your ship.

The Pelican Catamarans were specially designed and built for sailing and snorkeling cruises, offering plenty of deck space, a state of the art stereo system and an open bar that serves unlimited rum punch, juices and soft drinks after snorkeling. Start off at the Cruise Terminal pier where you will embark the catamaran and sail along the West Coast of the island. Your Captain will be happy to give information about the sites and the marine world. After the first 40 minutes of sailing, the Pelican will anchor at "ARASHI" at the West Point of the island, where you will experience some of the best snorkeling the Aruba has to offer. Swim in the turquoise waters of Aruba in the company of hundreds of Caribbean fish who swim amongst the colorful coral. After this one-hour stop, the catamaran will sail back to the cruise terminal and you will have the opportunity to practice a variety of Caribbean dances. Snorkel equipment and instruction provided.

Air conditioned buses take you along L.G. Smith Boulevard to Oranjestad harbor, the capital city, you will see outdoor markets displaying tropical fruits and fresh catches from the sea. Continuing to Wilhelmina Park, you will notice the beautiful, white marble statue of Queen Silhelmina of Holland surrounded by bright tropical flowers and island greenery. Your tour then takes you down colorful Wilhelminastraat, lined with Dutch colonial buildings that characterize the early days of Aruba. From here you will continue via Santa Crud to Frenchmen Pass, a historic battlefield and entrancing scenic site, where the Indians fought the French to protect the island from foreign invaders. It was here where gold was discovered in 1824 and Aruba's first industrial effort began. As your driver skirts through Casher and Boca Mahos, the trade winds shaped watapana (divi divi) trees come into view. The dramatic coastline of Aruba is the next route followed and it is here on the windward side of the island where you will reach the renowned natural bridge. Turning inland, your driver continues to the rock formation garden of Casibari and then to the little village of Noord. You will see St. Ann's church and travel along Aruba's hotel strip, and later you will have the option of being dropped off in town, which is 5 minutes walking distance from ship or can be dropped off at the ship.
