At the gateway to the Yucatan is Playa del Carmen/Cancun. Close enough to tour the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum and a resort town of fashionable shops and beautiful beaches. Cancun is world-renowned for the superb diving opportunities it offers, including Palancar Reef, home to thousands of kinds of brilliantly colored fish. Dive in. Or just kick back on a sun drenched Mexican beach and say 'adios' to all of your everyday concerns.

This tour offers a wonderful opportunity to combine sun and fun while discovering the real wonders of nature that Cancun has to offer. A top-of-the-line motorized catamaran carries you out to the shelter of the Marietas Islands, whose waters offer an ideal ecosystem for a prolific array of sealife. The catamaran will stop long enough to give you the opportunity to explore the rocky caverns and archways by snorkeling or kayak. Look out for the giant manta rays, sea turtles and an abundance of multi-colored fish. Professional guides are always on hand to help, advise and to ensure, above all, that you have fun.

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. In ancient times, the Mayans developed a paradise kingdom that rose high above the magnificent crystal blue Caribbean Sea. This ceremonial center is protected on all sides by 3 towering walls and a steep cliff. Within the walls of over 60 restored temples lie concealed secrets revealed only by mysterious hieroglyphic writings. Your adventure begins with a short tender ride to Playa Del Carmen where you will board air-conditioned buses for your informative one hour ride to Tulum. Once you arrive at the ruins, your guide will escort you through the Mayan City explaining the storied history and significance of these ruins. You will visit many amazing sites such as the castle on the cliff, the temple of the frescos, the temple of the descending god, the house of the chultun and the house of the columns. You won't want to miss the breathtaking view of the Caribbean from the towering cliff that separates the land from the sea. Once your tour of the ruins is complete, you will make your way back to Playa Del Carmen where a passenger ferry awaits to transport you to Cozumel. Upon arrival in Cozumel you have the option of staying downtown to experience the local flavor and maybe do some shopping, making your way back to the ship at your own expense (taxi - $5) or you can return to the ship. Approximately 6 hours

A beautiful tender ride takes you from the ship to Mexico's white sandy beaches, where you are ten minutes away from a first class resort course. This is a challenging championship layout carved out of the lush Mayan jungle. The course is well bunkered with many tight holes and doglegs. The course meanders between hilly and flat terrain, playing long with many interesting and challenging holes. The course was designed by renowned American architect, Robert Von Hagge and uses large depressions around the golf course as a design feature. Par: 72, 7,202 yards
