Enjoy the ride up the hill to Morne Fortune where you may gaze at the marvelous view of the city. The drive continues down to Cul-De-Sac Valley and along the West Coast. After passing through the famous Roseau Valley banana plantation, you head off road and upward over volcanic hills heading into the tropical rain forest. Stop to view the highest mountain on the island, Mt. Gimie, over 3000 feet high! You may even have the opportunity to sample some fresh fruits in season while you enjoy the fantastic view. Back to the jeep your trip continues along the rugged trail to La Sikwi Sugar Mill. Arrive at the Mill for a brief tour of this beautiful property. Continue to the Anse La Raye Waterfall but not before making a brief stop at the village waterfront. A short walk takes you to the waterfall where you can splash and cool off from your drive before returning to your jeep to begin your return trip. Approximately 4 hours.

Travel through the heart of the city of Castries up a picturesque but winding road to Morne Fortune. From this point you will capture the magnificence of the Castries harbor and even the coastline of Martinique on a clear day. Driving down from the Morne you will pass through the Cul de Sac Valley where you can enjoy a "green sea" of banana plants swaying in the wind on your way to the fishing village of Dennery. Next, you will stop at the viewpoint overlooking Fond D'Or beach and the village of Dennery with its 10,000 inhabitants. You will pass Dauphin and other picturesque fishing villages before arriving at Mamiku Gardens. Claude Anne Guy de Micoud, Colonel of the French Army in St. Lucia, first acquired this typical estate of the 18th Century in 1766. This beautiful property is carved out of woodlands that circle the hills where the ruins of the old 18th century de Micoud Estate House are located (now an archaeological find). Rest a while on rustic benches made from forest branches by local craftsmen. The garden has its own personality and character as you move to, Bougainvillea Walk, The Casey and Veronica's garden. Fresh fruit juices and snacks await you at the Brigand's Bar then your return journey begins back to the ship. Approximately 4 ½ hours.

After a beautiful scenic drive towards the Northeast section of the island, you will arrive at your first stop, Country saddles riding stables. Here you will be signed-in, issued helmets and given a short briefing detailing the basics of horseback riding for the beginners and highlighting safety rules for all. The ride begins at the Old Sugar Plantation, passing the historic mill built by the French in the 1770's. You will splash across the river into the banana fields following the river course passing through lovely forested areas edging mangroves, emerging onto the cliff lined beach. For the return trip the group is divided according to ability, and those who wish to return at a faster pace are placed in a separate group from those only wanting to walk back. Upon return to the plantation house, guests are welcomed with a cold drink. Drive through the capital city of Castries; bypass the local market, cathedral, Derek Walcott Square and Central Library, while learning the interesting facts about them all! Your first stop is Caribelle Batik, located in the lush hills with a panoramic view of Castries and its surroundings. Here you will learn first-hand about the batik process of hot wax from a very experienced hostess. Next, visit beautiful Marigot Bay, this tranquil blue lagoon is a paradise surrounded by green hills and a palm-ringed shoreline. Marigot Bay is an exceptionally beautiful natural yacht harbor and a haven for artists and writers. Descend to the waters edge, and have a closer look at nature's perfection. A ferry will take you across the bay the Marigot Beach, where you will enjoy a refreshing swim. Your last stop will be St. Marks, an old colonial style house, which is strategically placed high up in the hills and offers a panoramic view. Capture the magnificence of the Castries harbor amidst the deep blue sea with a green backdrop. On a clear day, view Martinique out in the distance along the northern coastline. Get lost in the Caribbean music as your boat sails through quaint villages and deserted coves. Welcome the tropical rays and let the cool ocean hum the sweet sounds of Caribbean paradise. Anse La Raye is the first fishing village you will see; it is a quaint ensemble of small wooden houses along the shoreline. Canaries is a picturesque little village, and the second village that you will visit on the west coast, enjoy some rum punch as the boat continues on to St. Lucia's landmark in exotic Soufriere. The boat will stop at Soufriere where a bus will take you to the Sulphur Springs, often referred to, as the world's only drive-in volcano. This historic site is the result of volcanic eruptions 300,000 years ago. Smell the sulfur as you enter the gates and inhale the natural smell (it is stated that the material from the sulfur can cure many illnesses). A short drive takes you back down to the jetty where you will board your catamaran once more. During your 45-minute cruise to Anse Cochon Beach; enjoy some local snacks served onboard. Enjoy a delightful, scenic ride through, Castries - the Capital, seeing the amazing sights along the way. Your first stop is the Dennery Village viewpoint, overlooking the quaint village of Dennery with its 10,000 inhabitants. You will pass Dauphin, Praslin, Micoud and other picturesque fishing villages before arriving to Mahout, where your rain forest walk will begin. Mahout Des Cartier Trail is where the walk begins. Your guide will brief you and point out the various plants and fauna that you may see along the way, you might even be lucky enough to spot "The Jacquot" the national bird - a multicolor parrot, which is indigenous to this area. After your walk, a picnic buffet will be served. Rest room facilities are also available. The tour continues to the La Tille, Enjoy this small "Garden of Eden" see watermelons, pineapples, coconuts and a host of other fruits and vegetables that are in season. This might be the perfect time to enjoy some delicious coconut water. Marvel at the beauty of the Mahout River and its exhilarating waterfall (guests are allowed to bathe). Tropica Gardens was conceived in 1978, out of the family's profound love and admiration for nature. Sample the different local fruit juices made from some fruits from the gardens. From Tropica Gardens, your bus takes you to the Waves at Choc Bay for a swim and a complimentary drink. You will experience St. Lucia's rainforest, banana plantation, and the island's most breathtaking waterfall during this exciting cycling adventure. Your tour begins with a bus ride through the city of Castries and down along the East Coast of the island. Upon arrival, your guide will give you a short orientation and issue bikes and safety equipment. Along the way, you will make several stops to learn about the vegetation and have a chance to taste some of the delicious fruits that are in season. You will also cycle through existing banana plantations and end up at the waterfalls. Here you will be served a refreshing juice and have the opportunity to swim in the cool water at the base of the falls. Along the route, you will encounter only a few gentle inclines, the most challenging taking about three minutes to transverse. You will return to the bus where you will be taken back to the ship.
