 Acapulco, which is virtually synonymous with luxury, is a place where the rich and famous come to escape. Take the scenic highway for a striking panoramic view of the beaches and mountains, and note the beautiful homes and lush gardens as you pass through Las Brisas. And make sure you take time to see the thrilling cliff divers plunge into the turbulent waters of La Quebrada.

 This is your chance to become acquainted with enchanting Acapulco. Enjoy a leisurely drive in air-conditioned buses to the most interesting spots in town. You will travel along a scenic highway offering striking panoramic views of the area’s beautiful white sand beaches and vast green mountains while seeing the homes of the rich and famous. Enjoy a visit to the Mayan Prince Hotel, one of the most exclusive resorts in the world, and last but not least, watch the thrilling Cliff Divers. These trained high cliff divers carry out a 50-year tradition, jumping from over 100 feet to a narrow gorge with eight to twelve feet of water.

 This excursion is for those who are interested in visiting the countryside away from the tourist path, to a retreat found in the quaint surroundings of beautiful Coyuca Lagoon. Coyuca is fed by a number of creeks and small tributaries coming from the Sierra Madre range. The lagoon was featured in "Rambo II" and some of the early Tarzan movies, even a few scenes from "African Queen" were filmed here. You will get the chance to watch the famous Cliff Divers, with limited time reserved for shopping. Refreshments will be available at "Tres Marias", a Rustic Rest stop and shopping break before continuing with a drive through the coastal highway leading northwest to "Pie de La Cuesta", a quiet village located between the ocean and a fresh water lagoon.
Note: Swimming in the lagoon is at your own risk, as there is no lifeguard on duty. Approximately 45 minutes will be spent at the lagoon.

 Enjoy an excursion of discovery as you drive in air-conditioned comfort while your guide introduces you to some of the various points of interest that Acapulco has to offer. A drive through the Las Brisas residential area, will give you a chance to view the beautiful homes and lush gardens while on your way to visit the "Cross of Peace" chapel. Admire a breathtaking view of Acapulco bay, before continuing on to the restored "Fuerte San Diego" which was built hundreds of years ago to protect Acapulco from attacks, recently restored, this star shaped fort is worth the visit. At "La Casa de Diego Rivera", home of the famous Mexican muralist, you will be able to see the magnificent work of art that decorates the front of the house. Finally on to Los Flamingos Hotel, formally owned by Hollywood movie stars of the 40's and 50's, where a cool refreshing soda or beer will await you on the terrace overlooking the ocean.
