Your journey takes you across 14 platforms situated between 10 and 90 feet above the ground. Enjoy a scenic journey through one of Mexico's premier vacation destinations on your way to Mismaloya. The quaint town of Puerto Vallarta and it's majestic cobble stone streets welcomes you as you pass by the beautiful resort hotels, shopping areas and historic sites such as cathedrals, government buildings and theatres. You will pass over the river Quale, where you can see Gringo Gulch, where the famous home of Elizabeth Taylor and the late Richard Burton is located and continue South past the Conchas residential area and the Camino Real Hotel. Enjoy the sights and scenery of the area as you enter the Playa Sol Condos before arriving at Mismaloya, the setting for the movie "Night of the Iguana". Prior to your return you will be treated to a beer or soft drink at one of the local restaurants.

It really is a Jungle out there, and you have the opportunity to be guided through it! Enjoy a scenic drive south along the coastal highway to Mismaloya and from here you will head into the foothills of the mountains featuring some of the most exciting Jungle locations in the area. Experience first hand, the exuberant growth and lush vegetation that characterize this tropical forest as you discover brilliantly colored plants and flowers and local wildlife as you are guided through this exotic locale. The movie "Predator" was filmed here and you will understand why once you see the dense vegetation and absolute primitiveness of the area. You will have ample time to explore the surroundings, take part in the optional hike, swim in the natural pools formed by the river, and try the natural water slide. You will have the option of being dropped off downtown (return transport to the ship will be at your expense) or returning directly to the pier.
Puerto Vallarta is home to many talented artists ranging from painters, Jewelry designers, sculptors and craftsmen. Because of all of this artistic activity, Puerto Vallarta has the reputation of being one of Mexico's premier cultural hot spots. Your adventure begins with a short bus transfer to the Old town District, where the walking tour begins. Your guide will answer your questions and point out the highlights as you are guided through a few of the area's more eclectic galleries and shop in this characteristic section of town.
