Set out into the calm protected waters of Southeast Alaska in the fishing vessel F/V Aleutian Ballad. Alaska's commercial fisheries come alive from the deck of a seasoned vessel - the same vessel as seen on the Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch program.
The vessel has been modified for your safety and comfort and includes a heated and sheltered amphitheater.
You will be so close to the action that you will see water dripping from 700 pound king crab pots as they land. Be prepared with your camera as king and snow crab, octopus, prawns and sharks, just to name a few, are set on deck just a few feet away.
The animals are placed in a live tank before being released back into the wild. Learn of the extraordinary experience of life aboard a working boat.
What you take home with you is the heart of its crew and memories that will live forever. This is Alaska. An adventure so real - you can hold it in your hands!
