Kings Wharf, Bermuda

Nestled at the tip of Bermuda's West End, King's Wharf is home to the impressive Royal Navy Dockyard and the Crafts Market, where you can shop for great pieces handmade by island artists. Nearby Somerset Village boasts the world's smallest drawbridge, opening a mere 22 inches - just wide enough to accommodate a sailboat's mast.
    Sample shore excursions:
  • Belmont Hills Golf Club
Designed by Algie Pulley creates, this sub-tropical paradise maximizes the Island's beauty and the golfer's experience. This demanding 18-hole, par 70 course, features 6,100 yards of intense bunkering, multi-tiered greens and narrow fairways. Golf package is available for onboard sales only.

  • Bermuda Cave Adventure
This tour will give you a hands-on experience in one the island's East End caves. Your guide will brief you on Bermuda's geology as well as scientific research being conducted in the caves. After donning a helmet, your guide will take on a cave exploration, followed by a refreshing swim in one of the most crystal-clear underground lagoons Bermuda has to offer.

  • Bermuda Dolphin Experience
Your dolphin experience and swim is 30-minutes in total, which includes a brief introduction and 20 minutes with the dolphins. Your dolphin time is a combination of shallow water and deep water interaction. Half of your time is spent sitting waist-high on a submerged platform where the dolphins come right up to your lap and you have hands-on interaction with them. The other half of the program takes place in the deeper water where you are observing the dolphins swimming under and around you, having a chance to see them through a mask and experience more interaction with them.

Your tour includes the entrance fee to the Maritime Museum, located on the same site. Transportation is not included; participants will make their own way to the Dolphin Quest complex that is located less than a 0.25-mile walk from the ship.

Participants must be at least 8 years old, not more than 280 pounds, must be strong swimmers and be able to get in and out of the water without assistance. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women. Participants are required to wear lifejackets throughout the duration of the program. Swimming is done on the surface of the water; there is no underwater diving.

  • Bermuda Triangle Nightlife Glass Bottom Boat Cruise
For something truly different, this tour is a perfect choice. Enjoy a complimentary Dark and Stormy cocktail as you board this evening cruise into the notorious Bermuda Triangle.

Your captain's lively commentary will amuse you as the boat slips into complete darkness. Then, without warning, the ocean beneath you is suddenly flooded with brilliant beams of light. Watch in wonder through the glass bottom as the boat's underwater lights illuminate the depths for you. The knowledgeable crew will explain the coral and fish that appear beneath, while you enjoy Bermuda's "Night Life" from a completely different point of view. Complimentary soft drinks and cash bar available on return trip.

  • Bermuda Triangle Shipwreck Snorkel
Get into Bermuda's best snorkeling with the "Looking Glass" crew. Bermuda is home to over 200 square miles of the Atlantic's most northerly fringe reef. Although beautiful, the reef is treacherous, and there are over 300 shipwrecks to prove it. Readers of Skin Diver Magazine consistently vote Bermuda as the "Wreck Diving Capital of the Atlantic." However you needn't be Jacques Cousteau to visit these historical sites, with the boat's unique glass bottom panels, you needn't even get wet if you don't want to! On this trip you will visit a shipwreck and a reef site that are home to an abundance of coral and fish. At your second site, you will be provided with quality snorkel equipment and full instruction for an up close and personal undersea experience. A complimentary batch of legendary Bermuda Rum Swizzle and free soft drinks are provided on the return trip. A cash bar is also available.

The tour operator reserves the right to substitute an inshore snorkel location in the event of inclement weather conditions. Participants must be in good physical condition and competent at swimming in water too deep to stand in.

  • Bermuda's Premier Glass Bottom Boat Tour
Coral reefs, the shipwreck "Vixen" and fish feeding are all part of your experience aboard an air-conditioned 78-foot glass bottom boat. Prior to returning to the ship, you will have an opportunity to drift silently in search of turtles.

  • Crystal Caves & Ocean Discovery Center
This tour combines Bermuda's oldest and newest attractions, the Crystal Caves and Ocean Discovery Center. Please note that transportation to and from Hamilton is not included in the purchase price; guests must purchase a pass or token on board the ship. Because this tour starts and ends in Hamilton, guests will be responsible for making their own way back to the ship prior to sailing.

  • Devil's Island Power Snorkel
Following instruction at a shallow water beach your guide will take you on a power assisted snorkel where you may view the coral and marine life surrounding Devil's Island.

  • Dockyard Trolley Train Tour
The Royal Naval Dockyard is rich in Bermuda's maritime history. Board the Trolley Train as your conductor combines stories, colorful anecdotes and historical information.

  • Hartley's Helmet Dive
This tour requires no lessons or swimming skills and offers more than just a look at marine life. Board a glass bottom boat for a 40-minute trip to the dive site where you will spend 25-30 minutes helmet diving. Some creatures you hold and pet, many you hand feed, and others simply hold you in awe by their presence.

  • Railway Trail Bike & Beach
Join a 5-8 mile guided cycling tour along the original Bermuda Railway Trail. After your ride, cool off with a refreshing swim and complimentary beverage.

  • Riddells Bay Golf & Country Club
Bermuda's oldest golf course, Riddell's Bay is a 5800 yards, par 70, 18-hole course with beautiful scenery and plenty of challenges, including two ponds and three ocean holes. Golf package is available for onboard sales only.
