The purpose of this position is to sell cruise vacations by consultation and sales service to The Cruise Web's clientele. After completing formal classroom and on-the job training, this position will work in a call center environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage your own time to generate and track sales with The Cruise Web's incoming calls, leads and diverse client base. Utilize The Cruise Web's sales techniques, an established process, to obtain a thorough understanding of client needs for effective recommendations to close the sale. Maintain prospective and existing clientele. Demonstrate respect, integrity and confidentiality among clients as well as associates. Some overtime and weekend work may be required.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent is required, college course work is a plus
- Stable employment history
- Positive employer references
- Highly motivated with a desire to succeed and surpass client and employer expectations
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrate assertiveness, initiative and tenaciousness
- Show evidence of direct sales experience and demonstrated proven sales results as well as the Performance Skills noted below.
Performance Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, time management and listening skills are required. Must proficiently operate a computer in Windows environment and be adept with web browsing. Exhibit basic reading, writing and math skills.
