- Day 1: The world-class sights of Sydney await you on an afternoon's sightseeing tour. Overnight in Sydney.
- Day 2: Fly to the “Red Centre” of Australia. An afternoon's tour of the Ayers Rock region includes the Olgas and the mighty monolith itself, Ayers Rock, rising from the plain to a height of over 1,100 feet. Overnight in Ayers Rock.
- Day 3: Get up early to watch the sun rise over Ayers Rock, then enjoy the morning at leisure. A scenic flight at noon takes you to Alice Springs, immortalized in the movie A Town Like Alice. Overnight in Alice Springs.
- Day 4: Today you will be treated to a special view of Aboriginal culture and customs, hosted by the Walpiri Tribe. Then fly to Sydney, where your Holland America ship awaits.

- Day 1: Once you arrive in Auckland, check-in at your hotel has been arranged and you'll have the rest of the day to explore the “City of Sails”. Overnight in Auckland.
- Day 2: Travel by motor coach to the Waitomo Caves for a silent boat ride on an underground river into a cavern lit by millions of iridescent glow worms. Lunch awaits at Crosshills, a lovely garden estate. Then return to Auckland for the night.
- Day 3: Head into the farming and wine areas of the west, bound for Muriwai Beach, home to one of only two mainland gannet bird colonies in the world. Enjoy a barbecue lunch at a working sheep farm, followed by demonstrations of sheep-shearing skills. Overnight in Auckland.
- Day 4: Transfer to your Holland America ship for the next part of your journey.
