Sawyer Glacier is encircled by towering tidewater glaciers. And when one "calved " it is a sight a spectacular as anything you 've ever seen. A clap of thunder breaks the stillness as a massive all of ice cracks and plunges into a bottomless sea.

- Totem Bight & Ketchikan City Tour: The Northwest Coastal Native lore is historically rich. Your guide will interpret the myths depicted on the totem poles lining the trail to Totem Bight State Park. Explore an authentic ceremonial clan house and check out the trading store too.
- Ketchikan Cultural Discovery Tour: See eagles eye to eye. Visit the Deer Mountain Hatchery and Eagle Center and get close-up photos of eagles in natural settings. The Center is housed in the Totem Bight State Park. Next stop, explore the Totem Heritage Center.
- Saxman Native Village Tour: Discover the living culture of Southeast Alaska's Native Americans. Tribal elders have passed on their traditions that come alive in the Village's Beaver Clan House. Enjoy ceremonial dances, storytelling and rituals. Visit the Saxman Totem Park and Village Carving Center.
- Lighthouse, Totems & Eagles Excursion Tour: Lots to see including eagles. Your boat tour offers views of the Guard Island Lighthouse, a lush rainforest, historic Ward Cove Cannery, the floating city of Loggerville, Revillagigedo Island of the rich and famous, and Guard and Gravina islands.
- Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show Tour: Tradition lives on. The world's best lumberjacks, as seen on ESPN, go head-to-head in events such as chopping, sawing, log rolling and more for the title of "Bull of the Woods". Fun to watch, but not to be tried at home.
- Wilderness Exploration & Crab Feed Tour: Board a guided catamaran and sail up a fjord to a remote crab estuary. You can assist pulling crab pots from the water for a hands-on, upclose look at the crabs. Now, off to the George Inlet lodge to enjoy a sumptuous crab feast.
