Although Nassau still shows evidence of centuries of British influence, it's also prettily colored and flavored by the slow pace of the tropics. The Bahamas' capital boasts a wide range of attractions: quaint architecture, glitzy resorts, and clear blue water that's perfect for sailing, snorkeling and diving. Try your bargaining skills at the famous Straw Market. If that tires you out, hop aboard a horse-drawn carriage for an historic tour.

- Nassau Highlights Tour

This brief tour will give you an overview of several local sites as you ride along the heart of Nassau's shopping district to Fort Charlotte. Here you can walk through a maze of corridors connecting a network of underground dungeons. You will also visit Fort Fincastle, a ship-shaped structure built in 1793 atop one of the highest hills in Nassau. Adjacent to the fort is the Queen's Staircase whose 65 steps were carved in solid limestone.
- Sea Scooter Snorkeling

Board this trendy double-deck catamaran, the M/V Blue Manta. Enjoy a narrated tour of the history of Western Hemisphere's oldest cities while listening to tropical island music. When you reach the snorkel site, your tour guide will give you a safety briefing and show you how to glide and explore a spectacular undersea world with your underwater power scooter. As you ride for one hour through the water you'll discover many parrotfish and all other habitants living in this marine protected reef.

Your adventure begins aboard our M/V Blue Manta, a sleek and classy double-deck catamaran. Tropical island melodies play as you cruise through the Nassau Harbor; enjoy a narrated tour which recants the history of one of the oldest waterfront cities in the western hemisphere. When you reach the ocean kayak site, your experienced tour guide will give you a short safety briefing and show you how to operate your kayak. Your guide will escort you along the shorelines to explore a spectacular undersea world from above with your Clear Kayak. After you reached your final destination, you'll have a chance to snorkel over the reef with the equipment provided.
- Shark Adventure

This two-tank shark dive program provides you with an up-close look at these magnificent and misunderstood creatures. The first dive is along one of the most beautiful walls with soft coral and purple sea fans and tube sponges. Here you'll have the chance to swim with sharks along the wall in a non-feeding environment. The second dive takes place in a large sand patch where you'll kneel down in a semi-circle and watch the dive master feed the sharks off a long pole. These Caribbean Reef sharks swim amongst everyone and come within touching distance from all the divers. No touching is allowed!

Begin your tour with a 30-minute scenic boat ride through historic Nassau Harbour on a high-speed, double-decker catamaran to Blue Lagoon Island. Upon arrival you'll be given a fun and interactive orientation covering the natural history of sea lions, animal training techniques, ocean conservation and wildlife guidelines. This educational and entertaining encounter is your chance to experience sea lions live and up-close like never before. You'll have the opportunity to kiss, hug, feed and play with these affectionate and humorous marine mammals. Your sea lion interaction will take place from specially designed, waist-deep submerged platforms in a calm, private island lagoon with ten or less guests in your program. While at the facility, you'll also have the opportunity to observe and speak with one of the many animal care staff about the care of marine mammals. It will be a unique adventure you'll never forget!

This modern semi-submarine boat gives everyone a chance to explore the underwater world once reserved for divers and snorkelers. A transfer boat will take you from Nassau on a narrated tour along the waterway that separates New Providence Island from its neighbor, Paradise Island. At Athol Island, you will board the Seaworld Explorer and begin your undersea exploration. A dazzling array of fish will swim right up to the vessel in search of food. You may also see a 70-year-old shipwreck.

Immerse yourself in the legend of Atlantis during this exciting excursion. After an approximately 25-minute harbor cruise to the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal, you'll be escorted to the resort for a guided exploration of Atlantis, to experience the most mystifying and spectacular resort to have risen from the sea. Discover the world's largest marine habitat, and view over 50,000 sea animals representing 200 different species. Also explore the Dig, which will reveal how Atlantean culture flourished over 11,000 years ago. Come to discover a continent in just one day at Atlantis Paradise Island. At the conclusion of the guided portion of the tour, you'll have some time on your own to return to the Dig and its exhibits, shop at the Marina Village, visit the casino, explore the hotel's grand lobby or have a bite to eat.
- Ardastra Zoo & Gardens Tour

Your tour begins as you drive through the heart of downtown to Fort Fincastle, which was built to protect the harbor from pirates. After leaving the Fort, you will be able to walk down the Queen's staircase, whose 65 or 66 steps depending on who's counting were carved in solid limestone in honor of Queen Victoria's reign. Your next stop is Ardastra Gardens, Zoo and Conservation Center, with five and a half acres of lush tropical gardens, home to the largest collection of Bahamian endangered species. You can see the world-famous marching flamingos strut their stuff and feed the beautiful lorry parrots by hand. Your transport from the time of pick-up until drop-off at Ardastra is fully narrated, giving you an inside look at Bahamian culture. Note: This tour ends at the Straw Market where you will have the opportunity to shop for unique island gifts and souvenirs.
- Stingray Adventure & Snorkel Tour
- Enjoy a scenic 25-minute boat ride through Nassau Harbor to the private Island of Blackbeard's Cay, featuring crystal-clear turquoise water, island music, water sports and a variety of activities. Once you arrive on the island, you'll be escorted to "tingray Adventure,"where you'll be briefed on how to use the snorkeling equipment and given safety tips and details about the Atlantic Southern stingrays. Once in the water, enjoy snorkeling and the thrill of hand feeding stingrays as they gracefully glide around you. After you swim, enjoy the rest of your time on the beach or at Blackbeard's famous Bacardi beach bars. Other water sports are available for purchase, as are food and beverages. This is a wonderful experience for the entire family. At you leisure, board the tender boat back to your cruise ship.
- America's Cup

This excursion gives you a chance to learn skills and really experience the thrill of America's Cup Racing. This is truly a hands-on experience where participants will be able to take an active role and be a part of the crew. These yachts race around an America's Cup style course with upwind and downwind legs in the Nassau harbor. The crews desperately try to outwit and outrace the opponent. The race lasts approximately two hours and then it's back into the harbor for a victory of America's Cup racing.
- Athol Island - Snorkel
- The tour will commence with a 25-minute narrated harbor cruise. The boat will then venture out to the coral reefs filled with tropical marine life. At the snorkel site you will have ample time to enjoy your snorkeling among some of the best reefs in the area.
- Discover Scuba Diving
- Explore the exciting world of Scuba in the crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas. You'll be escorted to a 42-foot spacious custom dive boat for a 20 minute ride to the dive site. After receiving your diving gear equipment and practicing a few skills, you'll be briefed on safety instructions. Embark into a shallow dive with depth of 12-20 feet for approximately 30-40 minutes where you'll find a large school of tropical fish. After the dive, fruit punch and water is provided complimentary.

Bertram's Cove may be the ultimate in premier snorkeling sites, with its shallow beach-side entry, gin-clear waters and colorful sea fans and corals that attract a variety of tropical fish. If you'd rather relax in a hammock or dance the limbo, that's all right, too. Whatever else you do, don't forget the scrumptious barbecue lunch.

- Private Island Snorkel - One of our most popular programs, this snorkel experience is perfect for beginners and experts alike. You'll have your equipment all day, so you can snorkel when you feel like it. Ask any of the instructors on the beach for a free lesson, and then you'll be ready to explore the exciting underwater world of NCL's very own private island. Swim or wade around in the sandy shallows to check out the many schools of fish and our artificial reef. Or if conditions permit, swim outside the cove and discover deeper water and coral formations. You might even meet Bert & Ernie, our friendly resident stingrays. Your knowledgeable Dive In instructors will even snorkel around the cove with you to point out the local marine life during our complimentary guided tours, which depart from the beach hourly.
Note: Participants must be able to swim.
- Parasail - Sail 400 feet above the pristine waters of the Bahamas in tandem while being towed by a brand new parasail boat off the beach of Great Stirrup Cay. Note: Participants must weigh at least 60 lbs., but this might vary depending on the weather conditions of the day. Parasailing is seasonal, and usually available during the summer months only.
