Nassau Ardastra Zoo & Gardens

    Your tour begins as you drive through the heart of downtown to Fort Fincastle, which was built to protect the harbor from pirates.
    After leaving the fort, you'll be able to walk down the Queen's staircase, whose 65 or 66 steps - depending on who's counting - were carved in solid limestone in honor of Queen Victoria's reign.
    Your next stop is Ardastra Gardens, Zoo and Conservation Center, with five and a half acres of lush tropical gardens, home to the largest collection of Bahamian endangered species.
    You can see the world-famous marching flamingos strut their stuff and feed the beautiful lorry parrots by hand.
    Your transport from the time of pick-up until drop-off at Ardastra is fully narrated, giving you an inside look at Bahamian culture.

    Note: This tour ends at the Straw Market where you'll have the opportunity to shop for unique island gifts and souvenirs. An approximately 10 to 15-minute walk is required to board transportation for all Nassau tours.
