Helmet Diving is Bermuda's most unique underwater adventure. Imagine taking a leisurely stroll on a sandy bottom in less than 20 feet of warm turquoise water, amid spectacular coral reefs with inquisitive tropical fish looking you in the eye and feeding all around. Helmet Diving is the safest way to experience Bermuda's fascinating underwater world and requires no prior swimming experience or training. It's an experience for the entire family. Your helmet is constantly supplied with air and your head stays dry allowing glasses and contact lenses to be worn throughout the tour. You'll be picked up at the ship's pier in your dive boat, which takes you to and from the reef location. Once there, you'll be given a comprehensive pre-dive briefing with particular emphasis on safety and individual tips to help you maximize your Helmet Dive adventure. Every dive is led by an experienced Dive Master and assisted by a surface technician who will ensure your Helmet Diving trip is the highlight of your visit to Bermuda. While underwater you'll be given a guided tour of a world inhabited by exotic species and fascinating corals and encourage you to get to know the myriad of tropical fish who show up on a daily basis to view our strange underwater guests.
