Halifax, Nova Scotia. Bluenose schooners once sailed the world from Halifax, possibly the greenest city in Canada's Maritime Provinces. Fast and nimble, they preyed on enemy ships and brought their booty to the vast warehouses along Privateer's Wharf. Take a tour of Halifax' restored Historic Properties, or head out of town to the charming Peggy's Cove.

- Valley & Vineyard. - Travel through the heart of Nova Scotia's beautiful, fertile Annapolis Valley, an area known for its world-famous Fundy tides, French Acadian history, lush countryside of fields and orchards and top-quality wine. Enjoy a brief tour at the Grand Pre Winery and after lunch, take a short drive to Fox Hill Cheese, a sixth generation family farm where you will see how cheese is made.
- Nature & Whale Watching Adventure. - Board the Haligonian III - a purpose built whale-watching vessel. Listen to your guide's full commentary as you take on the wonderful sites and wildlife along the coastlines of George's and Mc Nab's Island before entering the Great North Atlantic to experience the majestic views of the world's largest mammals. - Titanic - The Halifax Connection. - Your tour encompasses all aspects of Halifax's connection to the sinking of the Titanic. - Highlights Of Martha's Vineyard. - The towns of Martha's Vineyard offer surprising diversity, each with its own character and personality. This tour will take you throughout four of the Vineyard's townships. With its gingerbread cottages and Ocean Front Park, Oak Bluffs is a Victorian-era summer resort. At the foot of Circuit Avenue, the main street is the remarkable Flying Horses Carousel, the oldest operating carousel in the nation.
You will drive past Methodist Campgrounds, which consists of gingerbread cottages that were constructed to replace the Methodist meeting tents. You can enjoy the Gingerbread Cottages within a short walk of the dock. Vineyard Haven is the island's picturesque centre of commerce, more commonly known as the year-round town on the island. This is where most visitors arrive on the island via ferry. Boat building was major industry for many years here.
West Tisbury has all the characteristics of a typical New England village with its white church, general store, post office, old mill, and art field gallery can all be part of this Currier & Ives setting.
Edgartown is one of New England's most elegant communities; Edgartown's Main Street is a picture book setting with its harbor and waterfront. See the stately white Greek revival houses built by the whaling Captains. There will be a 1 ½ hour stop to allow you to stroll along North Water Street and see a row of sea Captains houses, study the fanlights and widow's walks, and see the old Lighthouse at the mouth of the Edgartown harbor.
On South Water Street see the huge Pagoda tree which was brought from China as a seedling in the early part of the 1800s. Other sites include the Vincent House (oldest on the island), Old Whaling Church (highest building on the island) and views of Chappaquiddick.
Note: This tour will provide a 50-minute tour of our four, down-Island townships, with a two-hour shopping/sightseeing/rest stop in the center of Edgartown, followed by a 25-minute tour of our barrier beach back to Oak Bluffs. Itinerary might be reversed in order to accommodate multiple departures.
