Sample Ports of Call/Shore Excursions
Samana, Dominican Republic

    Sample shore excursions:
  • Caves & Mangroves Exploration Tour: From the pier, board a speedboat and after a safety briefing, begin an ecological experience. Known for having one the lushest rainforests and mangrove reserves in the Caribbean, Los Haitises National Park is a beautiful sanctuary.
  • Cayo Levantado Beach Escape Tour: Be whisked away to a private island for a day of fun. Leave your ship by boat and head to the island of Cayo Levantado to explore the gentle hills, swim in the turquoise sea or relax on the beautiful white-sand beach.
  • Self Drive 4 X 4 Adventure Tour: Go off-road on a 4x4 Jeep. First, stop at a typical Dominican farm where you'll have the opportunity to sample fruits and coffee. Then, stop at El Valle Beach and El Valle Waterfall.
  • Walking Tour Of Samana: After a short walk from the pier you'll arrive at the Central Park. Begin the pleasant walk around the town center passing by the old tower clock and La Churcha.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Lazy, laid-back Road Town serves up English pibs and pretty painted wooden buildings. But great bays and beaches are the big draw here. So is Sage National Park, where primeval stands of mahogany trees still rule the dense scrub.

    Sample shore excursions:
  • X Bob - Underwater Scooter Fun: Travel to Norman Island where, while waiting your turn for the X Bob underwater scooter you can kayak, pedal, snorkel or simply splash into the ocean. Then, see the amazing underwater world of the BVI's in a unique way, while riding on an X Bob underwater scooter. Following your adventure, we'll bring you back to your ship or the downtown area if you would like to go shopping.
  • Best Of Tortola Tour: This picturesque excursion focuses on Tortola's mountainous terrain and offers many spectacular panoramic views. There'll be photo stops on the Ridge Road between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. You'll have two hours for lunch, swimming, relaxing and shopping at the Cane Garden Bay Beach.
  • Dolphin Encounter: After check-in and a brief orientation, taxis will pick you up for a short transfer to the Prospect Reef Facility. You'll descend a set of stairs into the beautiful Caribbean Sea on a submerged platform in waist-deep water, and have the chance to interact with the dolphins, including the swim-by and a kiss for a wonderful photo opportunity. The fast swim allows the dolphin to demonstrate their incredible speed and power, and you'll see several other behaviors designed to educate and fascinate you as you share an approximately 30-minute visit with these beautiful marine mammals. After the encounter, you'll be able to view the photos and video that was taken during the program.

Antigua

    Sample shore excursions:
  • Antigua Highlights & Lobster Lunch Tour: The first stop is the Blackhouse Ruins, built in 1787 and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Stop at the cliff top of Shirley Heights for a spectacular view of Nelson's Dockyard Village, Galleon Beach and Falmouth Harbor.
  • Antigua Historical Tour: Drive through St. John's to Antigua's national park, home of Nelson's Dockyard, the only working Georgian naval dockyard in the world.
  • Fort James & Beach Tour: Ride through the charming countryside in an air-conditioned bus on the way to Nelson's Dockyard, full of history and interesting architecture.
  • Cedar Valley Golf: Antigua's only 18-hole championship golf course. This par 70, 6,157 yard golf course lies amidst mature tropical trees, vistas on hills, and the Caribbean Sea.
  • Stingray Swim & Snorkel: Protected by the fringing reef, the calm crystal-clear waters are home to many southern stingrays. You'll be assisted and supervised by the qualified staff into the stingray habitat where you'll be able to play with, pet, and perhaps even feed the stingrays.

Bridgetown, Barbados

On this island of tropical palm-fringed beaches there's an ambience that ranges from sophisticated to slow-paced. Enjoy an exciting tour of Harrison's Cave, filled with underground streams, thundering waterfalls, stalacities and stalagnites.
    Sample Shore excursions:
  • Atlantis Submarine Adventure
  • Barbados Coast to Coast
  • Barbados Island Tour
  • Best of Barbados
  • Island Safari
  • Jolly Roger Pirate Cruise
  • Malibu Beach Break

Miami, Florida

This vibrant business center of the Americas sprawls between the placid Everglades and the dazzling haunts of the rich and famous on Miami Beach. Miami was developed by a railroad magnate and made famous by superstars who thrive on its churning nightlife and live in its lavish waterfront estates. A short drive from world-famous South Beach and trendy Ocean Drive is quaint Coconut Grove, a monument to Miami's more cultural side.
