This excursion encompasses what are perhaps Hawaii?s most important cultural sights. Departing from the pier, drive directly to Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial Visitor center where you will a motor launch will take you to the Arizona Memorial. During your visit to the Memorial, enjoy a narrative, as well as the many fascinating exhibits of the Visitor's Center. You'll see the old and new sights of downtown Honolulu, such as Chinatown, the financial district of downtown Honolulu. On the outskirts you will see the unique volcanic-shape State Capitol. Stop at the statue of Kamehameha, Hawaii's last ruling King, see the Iolani Palace, residence of Hawaiian monarchy and the only royal palace located in the United States.
You'll see the state's first church, Kawaiahao and Washington Place, the oldest continuously occupied residences on the island. Then you'll drive through the Punchbowl National Cemetery. Set in an extinct volcano, the cemetery is in honor of America's fallen heroes from WWI, WWIII, Korea and Vietnam wars. On the drive to the airport, relax and enjoy panoramic views of the city.
