Sample Shore Excursions:
- Coastal Highlights: So much to see. start by viewing the geographic beauty, the desert terrain, impressive coastline with rugged rock formations. Then be impressed by the local glass blowers at the glass factory. Continue on to San Jose del Cabo; stop at a cactus garden, then off to a restaurant for a drink.
- Whale Watching And Coastal Cruise: Only available from mid-December through March. As if homing devices are installed, between mid-December and March, thousands of whales migrate toward the warmer tides. Look for at least six different types of whales including the largest animals to inhabit the earth, the blue whales. Keep your camera handy.
- Sea Kayak & Snorkel Adventure:
Paddle to the magnificent Los Arcos rock formation that arches out of the sea. The paddling will be easy and will take you across the San Lucas Bay, an underwater park and marine sanctuary. Stop at the famed Lover's Beach to be refreshed.
- Sea Of Cortez Eco Snorkel: Jump aboard a Zodiac. Your eco-guide will skipper and take you an awe-inspiring ride past Lover's Beach and the sea lion colony. Snorkel at Pelican Rock Cove and then Santa Maria Cove - see amazing sea life as you pass. Snorkeling is from the boat and varies due to weather.
- Cabo Zodiac Whale Watch: Keep one hand on the camera and one on the boat. This action-packed ride could reveal some surprise sightings of humpback, gray or blue whales. They come by the thousands at this time of year. An experienced guide provides an experience you won't forget.
- Mini-sub Adventure: Explore the most beautiful reefs in the area diving in your Mini-Sub through the clear waters of the Sea of Cortez. The Mini-Sub is a unique scooter that allows you to see the underwater life even if you are not experienced in Scuba diving. You sit on your scooter with a bubble-shaped helmet over your head which permits you to comfortably breathe underwater.
- Cabo Canopy Adventure: If you're looking for an exciting eco-tour that is packed with challenges, adventure and fun, then this one is the right choice. Professionally trained guides will provide you with required gear at the base camp before accompanying you through the canopy circuit, which takes you flying across spectacular canyons and high above the beautiful natural scenery of the area.

Continue into the heart of the old downtown, where you'll find the historical center of Mazatlan. Proceed with your walking tour through the narrow streets, arriving at the city's Main Square.
- Hacienda Las Moras & Horseback Riding: Upon arrival at Las Moras, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the serene countryside, relax and sun by the swimming pool, stroll in the gardens and enjoy this exclusive working ranch followed by a tasty Mexican lunch. If you like to explore your artistic faculties or if painting or writing is already your hobby, this peaceful place will provide you a beautiful sightseeing for your inspiration.
- Estuaries & Birdwatching Expedition: This is an ideal opportunity for bird watchers and nature lovers to spend a day in absolute relaxation. Enjoy your guided cruise down mangrove and palm tree-lined waterways in Mexico's largest estuary/wetland system. Disembark and take a ride through a peaceful area on the way to a typical beachfront restaurant to enjoy a delightful fish lunch and have time for a swim or just relax.
- Kaktus Island Kayak Adventure: Enjoy a guided ocean kayak adventure for approximately one hour, during which you will circle the secluded Kaktus Island located just offshore. The completion of the kayak portion of your tour brings you to a beachfront restaurant and after taking time to relax a bit, you may participate in the optional hiking portion of the tour which is approximately 45 minutes (1 mile) and takes you to a location offering a beautiful view.
- Arts & History Of The Sierra Madre: Your exploration will carry you from historic Mazatlan to the Durango Highway, stopping at a brickyard where adobe bricks are handmade and fired much as they have been for centuries. Drive along the foothills of the Sierra Madre to Concordia for a visit, then continue to the village of Copala, once a thriving Spanish gold mining town. Enjoy a delightful lunch of Mexican food at a local restaurant followed by a visit to a furniture factory and a potter's home. Back at Mazatlan's Golden Zone you'll have approximately 40 minutes of free time to browse and shop.
