First stop will be at the Two Brothers Bridge for a photo opportunity and views of the Condado and Islaverde section of new San Juan, with its rows of modern condominiums and luxury hotels. Then proceed into Old San Juan for a stop at San Cristobal Fort. This is a 17th-century military fortification built by the Spanish. It is the largest ever built by the Spanish and it was built to defend San Juan from land attacks. After this thirty-minute visit, you will proceed to El Morro Castle and other historical monuments in the Old City. The last stop is the Plaza Colon in the heart of Old San Juan to experience the old buildings, cobblestone streets and all of the wonderful shops.

On the one-hour drive to El Yunque rainforest, you will pass through towns and rural communities, experiencing the identity of Puerto Rico. Once at El Yunque rainforest the guest will experience one of the most beautiful spots on the island. El Yunque encompasses 28,000 acres and reaches an elevation of 3,526 feet. After a brief visit to El Portal and viewing a short movie about the forest, begin your trip up to Ba–o Grande, a natural swimming pool. Then off to Ba–o de Oro Trail for a 45-minute guided walk through the lush woodlands to see the nest of the Puerto Rican parrot, and flora and fauna of the Palo Colorado forest. Visits to Yohaku observation tower and La Coca waterfalls are also included in this excursion.

On this tour you will have the opportunity to learn about San Juan History and the development of its unique sugar cane industry. Bacardi Corporation is the largest rum distillery in the world. At the plant the guest will be able to see the giant fermenting tanks that turn sugar cane into molasses and finally into rum. You will be able to follow the process from vat to barrel to bottle and then have a chance to sample the results. You will also be able to visit the Bacardi shops and museum.
Note: This tour can end at the ship or in the old city, depending upon where the ship is docked.

Start with a scenic 30-minute bus ride to "Espiritu Santo " river and Fisherman's Village. The guides will meet you at the river give full kayaking instructions and required safety equipment. Along the tour enjoy various types of mangrove, birds and crabs on the 40-minute paddle to Coco beach shore with its beautiful view of El Yunque rainforest. Here enjoy refreshments, and a short rest before returning by river back to the Fisherman's Village.
