You are outfitted with all the necessary gear and receive a thorough introduction to kayaking. No previous experience is necessary and expert guides make everyone quickly at ease in the comfortable kayaks. Chilkoot Lake is the setting for your adventure. This rich environment is home to all five species of Pacific salmon, numerous bald eagles, waterfowl and one of the highest concentrations of brown bears in southeast Alaska. In addition to the excitement of kayaking in the midst of towering mountains, hanging glaciers and spectacular scenery, you may be treated to outstanding bear viewing during the riverside drive and while paddling on the lake. Multiple spawning streams enter the lake and offer frequent bear and eagle sightings. The stable and silent kayaks make excellent viewing platforms.

SPECIAL NOTES
Minimum age is 8. Comfortable shoes and layered clothing are recommended. Participants over 6'8" or 250 lbs. may not fit comfortably in kayaks. Double and triple kayaks are used on this tour. This tour is only available on the Sea Princess voyages departing 7/3/09 and 7/23/09.
Liability waiver is required to be signed in the presence of the tour operator.
