Grenada has been dubbed "Spice Island" because of the impressive amounts of nutmeg, cloves, mace, cinnamon, ginger and cocoa grown here. And the dense forests and colorful markets have long attracted visitors to its fragrant shores. Covering this volcanic island are cascading rivers and lush rainforests, plus centuries-old spice plantations and rum distilleries still using traditional methods of production.
- Carenage Market. The busy market street of Carenage is the center of activity where schooners unload their produce and row upon row of stalls sell exotic fruit, vegetables, and, of course, spices.
- St. George. This pretty, pastel town showcases yellow, pink, tangerine, lilac and white 18th century French and Georgian English architecture.
- Grand Etang National Park. The azure Grand Etang Lake and nature reserve in the center of the island is situated in the crater of an extinct volcano. See spice trees and rare tropical flowers as you stroll the well-tended trails to the waterfalls.

Rain Forest Scenic Drive & Jaco Falls: Dominica is known for its fantastic rain forest and this is your chance to see it as well as a beautiful waterfall with very little walking.
Board your air-conditioned transportation and begin with a drive through the Capital of Roseau to the Morne Bruce
viewpoint that provides an overview of the city and the ship at the dock. Continue to the Botanical Gardens and view the famous and endangered sissereau and jacko parrots in protective cages along with many large trees, exotic flowers, and tropical plants. Continue towards the interior of the rain forest passing by many plantations with various fruit trees such as mango, banana, avocado, and cacao. Stop at Jaco Falls where a very short, flat walk
will take you to the viewpoint where you can look down at the waterfall. Here you can take photos and marvel at the tropical surroundings while enjoying a taste of a local seasonal fruit along with a complementary rum punch or fruit juice. Finally, conclude your rain forest drive through the scenic Layou Valley with its dramatic landscape. The last stop prior to returning to the ship will be for a photo stop at the scenic Layou River, which is the longest and largest river in Dominica
St. Thomas. The second largest of the three major U.S. Virgin Islands is action- packed with sunning, sightseeing and shopping possibilities. The panoramic views from Skyline Drive, St. Peter Great House, and the lush beauty of nearby St. John are just a few of the attractions.
Sample Shore Excursions:
- Atlantis Submarine Odyssey
- Underwater B.O.B. Adventure
- Water Island Bike and Beach Adventure
- Virgin Islands Helicopter Odyssey
- St. John Eco Hike and Beach
