After arriving in an air-conditioned bus, you’ll tour this impressive natural phenomenon by electric tram, where special-effects lighting makes this experience all the more enjoyable. You’ll also visit the historic Gun Hill Signal Station with its panoramic views, along with Orchid World where you’ll have time to leisurely stroll the paths and enjoy the many varieties of the delicate and beautiful orchids. At the conclusion of your visit you’ll be transferred back to the port.

- Harrison's Caves. Harrison’s Caves is a magnificent natural phenomenon, quite in a class of its own. Formed from a particularly beautiful type of crystallized limestone, this stunning cavern is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular natural attractions in the entire Caribbean. Your tour begins with an air-conditioned transfer to the caves. After checking in at the Visitors Center, you board the electric tram that will take you down into the cave. As the driver pulls away, the guide will provide an ongoing narration about the magnificent chambers, incredible stalactites and stalagmites, bubbling streams, tumbling cascades, plunging waterfalls and emerald pools. Throughout the almost mile-long cave, the flowstone covered walls glisten in the lights as the calcite- laden waters drip down from the roof. In many areas, the stalactites have reached down to join with the stalagmites to form spectacular pillars. The tram stops at various points to allow you to disembark and have a closer look at the beauty at hand. One stop takes pla ce at the lowest point in the cave, where a waterfall plunges into an emerald pool. After your tour of the cave, you’ll be transferred back to the ship.

- Atlantis Submarine Odyssey. This exciting tour of the marine environment takes you in air- conditioned comfort on a 45-minute underwater journey in a real submarine ranging in depth from 30 to 150 feet and ending with an exhilarating, interactive dive show. This live, 15-minute show, featuring Atlantis divers Flash and Ray, uses advanced sub- aquatic technology, so they can communicate directly with you on the Atlantis. Gliding along with underwater scooters, they create a unique marine choreography that’s both dramatic and educational. At the end of the tour, you’ll receive a special Atlantis Odyssey dive certificate to remember this special visit to inner space and a welcome back rum punch awaits you on your return trip to shore.

- Barbados Mountain Biking Adventure. Mountain biking is a fun an exciting way to enjoy the natural beauty of the undulating Bajan countryside. After an approximately 30-minute transfer, you’ll arrive at the Highland Adventure Center, where you’ll have a brief orientation about the bike and safety equipment. You’ll follow your guide first through a small picturesque village that’s abundant with bamboo, avocado and breadfruit trees, and then past Welchmanhall Gully. You’ll soon reach Chirnbarazo, the highest populated point of the island. From here you’ll start your descent down to the beautiful east coast. Throughout the ride, you’ll have many magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, and stops will be made for photographs. The ride will end at Barclay’s Park at a scenic east coast beach, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary beverage and a few minutes to explore prior to your transfer back to the ship.

- Barbados Horseback Riding. There’s no better way to experience Barbados than on horseback. After an approximately 30-minute air-conditioned transfer, you’ll reach the Highland Adventure Center in central Barbados. An orientation and safety information will be provided prior to your one-hour guided trail ride through grassy fields and sugar plantations, with marvelous views of the rolling countryside and the coastin the distance. After your ride, a complimentary beverage will be served before your transfer back to the ship.

Swim with sea turtles and enjoy time on a beautiful beach.
Board your transportation for a very brief transfer to the boat. Relax and admire the beautiful west coast of Barbados as you cruise to the swimming area with the sea turtles. Once at the site a briefing on how to interact with the turtles will be provided and your snorkeling equipment will be issued. There will be ample time to swim with these beautiful marine animals prior to heading to a local beach for some fun in the sun. Complimentary beverages will be served at the beach before your return to the ship. Snorkeling equipment including snorkel vest, professional instruction, supervision, refreshments, and transportation are included.

This diving adventure is for first-time or non-certified divers who want to experience scuba diving in one of the Caribbean’s best-known destinations.
Board your air-conditioned transportation for the short transfer to a local dive shop. Your adventure begins with a short classroom session covering important safety information and certain scuba skills. Then gear up and practice those newly acquired skills in a pool. Board your dive boat and head out to the reef for a guided dive. Barbados has a diverse marine ecosystem featuring a variety of corals, sponges, and tropical fish. Scuba equipment, professional instruction and supervision, drinking water, sodas, and transportation are included.

After a short transfer board your sleek catamaran and set sail to the sea turtle snorkeling site. Anchor in a sheltered bay, swim with several graceful green and hawksbill turtles while your crew feeds them. After your swim, enjoy refreshments en route to a secluded beach where you can stroll the white sand or take a dip in the sea. Experience the thrill of an actual sailing regatta on one of two authentic 80-foot mono-hull sailing yachts that were both successful competitors in the 1989 Whitbread “Around the World” Race.
Board your transportation for a very short transfer to the sailing yachts. After an orientation and safety briefing, take your assigned place on the yacht and prepare for an exciting regatta. Each boat is manned by a professional sailing crew and you will have the opportunity to fill the remaining spots doing tasks such as helmsmen, tactician, grinder, and foredeck. You can help to hoist sails, steer, or just hang out on the rail and cheer your team to victory. Various courses will be set, and depending on wind, weather, and sea conditions, may vary slightly. Complimentary non-alcoholic cold drinks and bottled water will be available during the race. Upon completion of the race a victory party will be hosted on shore with complimentary rum based drinks, soft drinks, and snacks.
