Nice sits in a natural amphitheater on the Baie de Anges. Upon arrival, board the small, open-air tourist tram for a leisurely one-hour, narrated ride through the city. You travel through the narrow streets of the old town, pass the popular flower market, and climb up to Castle Hill Park for an excellent view of the city and the bay.
- WHAT YOU VISIT
St. Paul de Vence - Seated on a craggy hilltop, this medieval walled town has changed little over the centuries. Your guide escorts you through the narrow streets of the village to the central square. Spend some free time wandering the cobbled streets, taking in the picturesque buildings and browsing through the shops and art galleries.
- SHOPPING AND LUNCH ON YOUR OWN
There is plenty of time during your visit to St. Paul de Vence to browse among the many craft, art, jewelry and souvenir shops and to try the cuisine at one of the many cafés.
- WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Board your motorcoach for the narrated drive along the Boulevard du Midi before taking the highway to Nice. Entering Nice, drive along the Promenade des Anglais. Disembark for the brief walk to the tourist tram loading area. After your sightseeing ride in Nice, reboard your motorcoach for your drive heading inland to La Colle-sur-Loup and St. Paul de Vence.

Travel the famed Golden Corniche to the popular resort of St. Tropez. Ride the ferry from Ste. Maxime to St. Tropez and enjoy approximately three hours of free time to explore the old port. Then tour Port Grimaud by boat. This unique seaside community of luxury homes, canals and bridges was formed from a swamp in 1962.

St. Tropez - St. Tropez is an international resort destination. Luxury yachts lay moored in the harbor. The pink and tan houses of the old port glow in the sun, and visitors head for fine, sheltered waterfront on one of the most beautiful bays on the Mediterranean. Ride the ferry from Ste. Maxime to St. Tropez and enjoy three hours exploring its harbor, cafés, shops, cabarets and boutiques.
Port Grimaud - In 1962, a virtual swamp was transformed into a waterside village where houses line over four miles of canals. Each house has a waterfront view, a garden and space to moor a boat. Stone and wood bridges span the canals, connecting the port’s islets. Cafés, shops and restaurants are scattered through the community, which are accessible only by foot or small electric launches. Tour this fascinating village in a small boat that winds through the twisting waterways.

French cuisine with wine is on the luncheon menu at a lovely restaurant in St. Tropez.
- WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
From Cannes, drive south along the Golden Corniche through La Napoule, Port La Galere, Pointe du Cap Roux, Agay, and St. Raphael while viewing sweeping bays and seaside villages. The coastal rock formations display a reddish tint unique to the area south of Cannes. Disembark at Ste. Maxime and board the ferry for the 20-minute ride to St. Tropez. After your visit to St. Tropez and Port Grimaud, return to Cannes via the highway.
