After being assigned your 4-person Jeep, you will set out across the desert in a caravan following your local guide. Along the drive see some of the local flora and fauna that is found all over Baja. Here are several working ranches along the drive where you may see herds of cows and goats roaming the roads.
Your exploration will take you to La Candelaria, a small oasis village in the middle of the desert, where you will be served a delicious snack and a drink at the local boarding school, home to approximately 75 students during the school week.
A portion of your ticket cost will be used in the purchase of supplies and materials for the school. A short walk will also be made to a working ranch, where Don Jesus – a skilled artisan specializing in the fabrication of wooden furniture – and his family have lived for many decades.
A visit will also be made to his neighbor who is an artist specializing in ceramic pots and watercolor paintings. As her works are in high demand there are not always samples available for viewing. Continue your Jeep exploration down one of Baja’s largest river washes until it reaches the Pacific Ocean. Once at the beach, you will be given some free time to explore for shells or just relax and watch the waves.

Board a 28-foot, fully-equipped cabin cruiser for a day spent in pursuit of marlin and sailfish.
Board your sportfishing vessel for a brief cruise to the fishing grounds, where you troll for marlin and sailfish. Please remember you have purchased the opportunity to catch fish, not a guarantee of doing so. Fishing for trophy fish such as billfish is catch-and-release; gear, tackle, and bait (if available) are provided. Each boat carries between four to six fishermen who rotate among troll lines (fishermen do not hold the rods).
Fishing licenses, beer, soft drinks, water and box lunch are included. Princess regrets that we are not allowed to store your catch onboard; any non-trophy fish will be kept by the crew.
