Begin your walking tour on the pier when you meet your English-speaking guide. The guide will give you a pertinent and interesting background story of your port town of Zihuatanejo. It is a typical Mexican town with its quaint feeling of laid-back chaos. Your first stop will be at the local fish market, where the town itself wakes up first. This has been the center of its commercial existence for centuries. Next, walk towards the Zocalo, or town square to see the town church. Here, you will see the focal point of the town's religion. Then comes your time at the local shopping area. You will have 30 mintues to browse for Mexican handicrafts and other items of interest.

Saddle up and take a horseback adventure through the natural, rural land between the Sierra Madres and the spectacular Pacific coast of southern Mexico.
The adventure begins as you are escorted from the tender pier by your English-speaking guide and taken on a 30-minute sightseeing ride through Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa’s outskirts and surrounding area to your horse ranch. At the ranch, you will be given instructions on how to ride and given a horse that will be matched to your ability, interest and experience. Your guide will then escort you on a beautiful trail, which leads through the close growing jungle. After your adventurous ride through the jungle, it’s time to mosey back to the ranch and restaurant, where you will enjoy some time before returning to the ship. You will be offered a granola bar and something to drink.

Travel to Petatlan to visit one of the most revered shrines in Mexico, the Church of Father Jesus de Petatlan.
Board your air-conditioned motorcoach and drive through Zihuatanejo and Agua de Correa to Petatlan, passing coconut and mango plantations. Disembark in the main square. The church boasts high-arched ceilings and superb stained glass windows. Its statue of St. Father Jesus of Petatlan draws the faithful from all over Mexico and the world, who come in search of miraculous cures. After your visit, explore the plaza and indulge in a complimentary beverage.

Explore a taste of Mexican country life, visit a fruit plantation, and stroll a secluded beach along the lagoon where fishermen cast their nets.
Board your air-conditioned motorcoach and drive through Zihuatanejo into the countryside, where you tour a fruit plantation that raises papaya, mango, grapefruit and coconut. Then visit an open-air factory to see bricks and floor tiles made according to time-honored methods. Continue to Barra de Potosi lagoon, where you enjoy a complimentary beverage in the shade of a palapa restaurant, then stroll the secluded beach, watching local fishermen cast their nets on the lagoon. On the way back to Zihuatanejo pier, a brief photo stop will be made to take in the views of Ixtapa Resort.

Cross the bay in Zihuatanejo for a kayak and snorkel adventure.
Board local pangas at the pier in Zihuatanejo for the short journey to Las Gatas Beach Club; a Robinson Crusoe style resort on the other side of the bay. Here you will be offered a complimentary beverage and given a brief history of Zihuatanejo Bay. Kayak along the scenic coastline of the bay and par take snorkelling from the beach to the nearby rocks where you may see the harmless whiskered sharks which gave the beach its name.

Encounter Pacific bottlenose dolphins face to face and go for a swim with these playful and intelligent creatures.
At the pier board your transport for the 30 minute transfer to Delfiniti, where you receive an informative orientation on Pacific bottlenose dolphins. In a large deep water pool, begin your 45 minutes of close and personal contact with these interesting and fun creatures. Interact with the animals in one or two of their amazing feats. Touch, talk and get a kiss from a dolphin; all will leave you with exciting memories of your experience.
