Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The town of Ocho Rios, on Jamaica's north coast, is edged with white-sand beaches. Contrary to popular belief, its name does not refer to "eight rivers, " the literal Spanish translation. It derives instead from the Spanish word chorreras, or "waterfalls, " of which Ocho Rios has many - including the spectacular Dunn 's River Falls.

Dunn's River Falls Cruise & Dolphin Cove Tour

    This tour combines two of Ocho Rios’s most desirable attractions, Dunn’s River Falls and Dolphin Cove. Your tour begins when you board a boat for a scenic cruise along the coast to Dunn’s River Falls. At the falls, water cascades along a rocky, elevated course down to sea level, emptying into the Caribbean Sea. With the help of an experienced guide, you will enjoy the exhilarating climb to the top. After approximately one hour and thirty minutes, you’ll board a bus for Dolphin Cove with its 4-acres of tropical rain forest and natural cove. Watch the Dolphins at play, shop or just relax. At the conclusion of the Dolphin Cove portion of the tours, taxis will be waiting to take you back to the ship. Transportation and entrance fees are included.

Martha Brae River Rafting Tour

    This guided tour takes you west through St. Ann's Bay, Runaway Bay and Sevilla la Nueva before arriving at the banks of the Martha Brae River. At Rafters Village, you will be greeted with a complimentary rum or fruit punch before you board a 30-foot, two-seater bamboo raft. Your captain will guide the raft down the two-mile winding tropical river. As you enjoy the tranquil 1 1?2-hour journey, you will see lush Jamaican flora. River Tubing Safari

    River tubing is great fun for the entire family and a unique way to stay cool while enjoying the tropical countryside of this beautiful island. Your tubing safari begins with a 40-minute transfer to Spanish Bridge, a 17th century landmark located on the White River. On arrival, your guide will issue you a specially designed inner tube, paddle and life jacket. After a brief orientation, you'll begin your guided two to three-mile leisurely float down the river. Experience the lush tropical surroundings as you pass plantations and small houses built on the riverbanks. At the conclusion of your approximately one hour and 30-minute river float, complimentary refreshments will be served before your transfer back to the ship.
