	Tatoosh Islands Sea Kayaking

Your adventure begins with a narrated drive to Knudson Cove where you'll gear up for a quick and exhilarating motorized, inflatable boat ride to the Tatoosh Islands. Upon arrival your guides will present a kayaking orientation and safety briefing before launching from the beach in your double sea kayak. Paddling in and around this unique island environment you will learn about the natural and cultural history of this area within the Tongass National Forest. 	Traitor's Cove Bear Adventure Tour

Take a guided wildlife adventure available to only a limited number of visitors. Depart by floatplane to Traitor's Cove, one of the finest bear-viewing venues in Alaska. It is then a short van ride to the Margaret Creek trailhead, where you will hike a well-maintained trail to the viewing platform overlooking a waterfall. From the viewing platform look down on Margaret Creek Falls, an area where black bear gather to feed on the runs of salmon heading upstream to spawn. Bald eagles perch in the surrounding trees waiting for the fish scraps left by the bears. This is an experience for the nature lover and photographer. Access to the area is controlled by the U.S. Forest Service to minimize the impact on the wildlife population and to protect this fragile environment. The likelihood of seeing bears on this tour is good, although sightings are not guaranteed.
