Capital of proud Catalonia, Barcelona is a cosmopolitan city like no other. Old and new combine in Barcelona; narrow Gothic Quarter alleyways contrast with grand boulevards. Everywhere, the city celebrates the work of Gaudi, its surreal modernist hometown architect. The city also boasts an incredible collection of Picasso’s work. Stroll down Las Ramblas, Barcelona’s wide tree-lined boulevard and enjoy the street carnival. Enjoy delectable tapas in the many restaurants and bars. See what the Olympic fervor was all about.
Palamos is located at the foot of the coastal mountains in the heart of Spain's Costa Brava region. The area's seven beaches have shorelines that range from rocky to smooth and sandy. The town was originally founded in 1277, and the old part is set apart from the new, on a promontory at the eastern end of the bay. Palamos still retains its fishing industry, the day´s catch being auctioned off on the busy quayside in the late afternoon.

One of the islands off the French coast known as the “Golden Isles” for the way sunlight shimmers on its mica rock, Porquerolles is uncrowded and serene. Small coves separated by rugged cliffs boast excellent swimming. Porquerolles is beloved by filmmakers, who use it as a South Sea island stand-in, and for sophisticated travelers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life.
This fashionable resort town lies on the magnificent Gulf of Santa Giulia near the southern tip of Corsica. Combine a day at the beach with a visit to one of the prehistoric sites nearby.

- La Côte Orientale (East Coast) Tour
Portovenere’s small colorful houses – some only three yards wide and as much as seven stories tall – climb steeply up the hillside. Wander its maze of tiny alleyways – this is a fascinating small town to explore. From the ship, the steeple of the 12th-century church of San Lorenzo can be seen, along with the simple Gothic church of San Pietro built on a promontory above the harbor. Also available from Portovenere is a motorcoach transfer to nearby Florence, where you’ll have the day to explore that city’s fabulous art, architecture, museums, and restaurants on your own.

- Cinque Terre Tour
- The Leaning Tower of Pisa Tour
- Lucca Tour
