Princess Cruises partners with Tauck for Grand Alaska voyages aboard Grand Princess. Measuring 949 feet with a beam of 188 feet, the ship accommodates 2,600 guests with a crew of 1,150 and is registered in the Bahamas.
The hub of Grand Princess is the Piazza, a European-inspired "town square" at the base of a multi-story atrium featuring glass-walled lifts, a spiral staircase, and the International Café. Dining options include Sabatini's for Italian specialties, Crown Grill for premium steaks and fresh seafood, Crab Shack for seafood, Alfredo's Pizzeria, and 24-hour room service. Bars and lounges include Vines Wine Bar (voted "Best Wine Bars at Sea" by USA Today), Vista Show Lounge, Calypso Bar, Explorer's Lounge, and One5 nightclub.
Onboard amenities include four pools plus a splash pool, The Sanctuary adults-only retreat, full-service Lotus Spa and Fitness Center, a nine-hole putting course, sports court, Vegas-style casino, art gallery, Internet Café and Library, and a poolside amphitheater. Entertainment features original Broadway-style productions created exclusively for Princess by Stephen Schwartz, the legendary composer of Wicked, Godspell, and Pippin.
All staterooms feature the Princess Luxury Bed, TV, refrigerator, safe, phone, hair dryer, and private bathroom with shower. Tauck guests enjoy exclusive shore excursions exploring Alaska's historic Klondike Gold Rush towns, wildlife preserves, and glacial landscapes.
