Hotels were way below Tauck’s past standards. Food was beyond bad. Women on tour were joking about how much weight we were losing and it was a reality. How could a French owned boat serve such awful food Tauck has certainly cut many corners and the chatter among long term Tauck devotees was they would never travel with Tauck again. That said, our local guides were delightful and the ship’s service staff were very good. Tauck Air Division could not possibly have been less accommodating or available. Upper level mismanagement is most evident, especially at this price point.
Pros: Fabulous itinerary, wonderful staff, beautiful boat, amazing scenery
Cons: Poor value for the money
