Overview
Super Ship Catherine is the newest of Uniworld’s Boutique Ships. She is modeled after S.S. Antoinette to give passengers a luxurious space from which to enjoy the finer side of life in Europe.
With ornate interiors and spacious staterooms, passengers aboard the S.S. Catherine will experience the waterways of Europe like the royalty this ship is named for.
While onboard, passengers can drink at the Leopard Lounge with its elephant head bar rails and safari motif.
They can also unwind with a delicate, yet firm, massage at the Serenity River Spa. Sailing has never been this glamorous.

Uniworld thought of everything from offering a variety of tours to acknowledging our anniversary by leaving champaign and decorations in our room to added touches such as chocolate covered strawberries.
Pros: Outstanding staff, delicious food with several options, informative tours and fabulous tour guides, beautiful boat
Cons: average age of travelers were in 70's

We will do this again. We relaxed, were pampered, and enjoyed the entire cruise.
Pros: The crew and the service. Although the ship is beautiful, without a superlative crew it would have only been a ship. The crew was wonderful, dedicated to service and very well trained.
Cons: None (the weather failed to cooperate; however, not undere the Captains control)

This was our first river cruise & scheduled tour. I’m afraid the bar has been set very high for all subsequent trips like this we hope to take! Everything about the ship, staff, on board dining and the excursions were excellent. Going on a planned tour doesn’t allow for a lot of free time or individual exploration, however that is the trade off for well thought out tours & great guides. We cannot recommend Uniworld enough to enjoy a river cruise vacation.

Cons: Some of the excursions don’t allow you free time

We truly enjoyed out time on the ship. The close proximity to the shoreline made for a remarkable experience. Food on the ship was outstanding as was the access to fine wine and sprits all inclusive.
Pros: The Catherine is a beautifully appointed ship with all the amenites necessary to have a wonderful experience.
Cons: None to speak of.

We have done other cruises on the rivers in Europe. We were disappointed that their was t live entertainment on board nightly. Also would have loved a small cafe for simple food if you missed lunch or dinner.
