Cruise through spectacular scenery on Viking Herja as she tours Europe. The sleek Scandinavian design of this Viking River Cruises vessel is reminiscent of the 13th-century chronicle of Old Norse mythology.
Viking Herja features, a 360-degree sun deck, Aquavit Terrace with viewing area and grills for al fresco dining, observation lounge and bar with floor-to-ceiling glass doors and an organic herb garden.

WONDERFUL! Thank you! VERY well organized and zero hic-ups. Very friendly yet very professional staff. They took care of all the worries and concerns. Exceptionally well run company. Inform people of Swiss Francs, not Euros, and non-European electric converters in Switzerland.
Pros: Fantastic staff, ports, food, service and included tours. Everything taken care of.
Cons: One seating for dinner could get noisy and a little hectic

this was our first Viking voyage. We had no specific expectations, but if we had, they would have been exceeded. From checking in in Paris to disembarking in Basel, we can not think of any aspect that was not handled nearly perfectly, and our input was requested al the way through. An excellent trip.
Pros: Staff, ship, buses all excellent.

love viking river cruises. they do everything right and nothing bad to say one thing i would have them change is the advertising for the "paris to the swiss alps" You go to zurich but not the alps unless you pay for an extra excursion... zurich is not in the alps i found out.
Pros: all exeptional
Cons: seats on lufthansa too small

A great preview tour that allows you to sample each location. But if you are looking for an in-depth experience, this is not your trip. Viking is good at organizing. Staff was enthusiastic and helpful. Tour guides were knowledgeable.
Pros: Great Itinerary and staff
