Viking Sigrun

Our 1st Viking experience and it far exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent. Excursions were well thought out and descriptions of what to expect on excursions was accurate. Food was exceptional. Our program director, Rene, was outstanding. Scenery especially castle section of the Rhine was gorgeous. Would highly recommend this cruise to others

We had such a wonderful time on our Viking trip!!! Yes, we will travel with Viking again, they have been fantastic, Covid cancelled our original cruise in 2020, so we were really looking forward to our cruise, and we were not disappointed!!! Thank you Viking for helping us celebrate our 50th anniversary in such style and grace!!

All accommodations were excellent and above expectations! Crew and staff were very professional and catered to our every need. Scenic river views are featured throughout cruise. On-shore excursions were well-planned and led by informative and entertaining guides. On-board activities featured a variety of entertainment. Dining was outstanding! HIGHLY recommended for an enjoyable experience and good overall value!

The maiden voyage of the Sigrun was exceptional! Meals were wonderful, and timing of courses improved as the week went on. I loved the fact that the Captain and Chef interacted daily with the passengers. The included excursions were informative, with engaging guides. I highly recommend Viking river cruises!

The crew were attentive and professional. Our cabin attendant was wonderful! Ship was nicely decorated and clean. Wish they had a small convenience store for things like over the counter medicine, or small things that guests forgot to pack and could purchase. A bus tour of city center of old Amsterdam before departing would have been nice because otherwise you see nothing if Amsterdam except for where ship is parked. Also there are no excursions in Basel, Switzerland. You must leave ship in early hours to make your flight.
