The most popular and arguably the best way to experience the National Park is by taking a wildlife and glacier cruise from Seward. These tours vary in length and navigate through Resurrection Bay.

Keep your eyes peeled for the marine wildlife that calls the area home. You have excellent chances of seeing humpback whales. Captains are skilled at finding and stopping for wildlife sightings.

One of the most thrilling experiences is witnessing a tidewater glacier "calve," where massive chunks of ice break off. Many boat tours position themselves safely to allow for this spectacle.

While most of the park is only accessible by boat, Exit Glacier is the only part National Park accessible by road from Seward. You can take a shuttle or taxi from Seward.
