Overview
The Celebrity Solstice, namesake and first of the Solstice-Class ships, innovated cruising for Celebrity.
This ship was the first to introduce the Lawn Club, a spacious area on the ship with fresh and beautiful green grass, perfect for picnics or a game of catch. This was also the first ship to have The Hot Glass Show, where passengers watch and learn as glass blowers talk about this beautiful art form and create beautiful glass objects in front of their eyes.

We had a wonderful time on our cruise. The only negative is that it's over!

Excellent trip. Adventures in Viet Nam and Thailand were spectacular.
Pros: Excellent stops and great trips. A must see for everyone.
Cons: Third time on Solstice.Know where everything is. Ship needs a bit of an upgrade as it is getting word in some spots.

We stayed in a Suite in the Retreat in a recent cruise to Alaska. This was our first time cruising and we could not have had a better time. I can only comment on what it was like to stay in The Retreat and it was amazing. I can't say enough about the attention and the service we received. The food we had in Luminae and the Specialty Restaurants was next level. We were also amazed by the level of entertainment - we took the time to see most of the shows. We will cruise again for sure!
