EXPLORA II was named in Civitavecchia by godmother Rosalba Giugni, founder of Marevivo, Italy's leading marine conservation organisation, underscoring the brand's enduring commitment to ocean stewardship.
She is RINA DOLPHIN certified to minimize underwater noise, and, like every ship in the fleet, is entirely free of single-use plastics, on board and ashore.

Pros: Beautiful Ship, new ship, fantastic staff, excellent food
Cons: The port stop in Tunisia needs to be tightened up. The shuttle works well, but the drop of point in Tunis is in the middle of traffic; should be a specific place with space to disembark the shuttle.

The food in the specialty restaurants was fantastic.. The quality, selection service were all better than any ship I have been on. The food in the marketplace was also fantastic, with great selection ,quality and service. I have been on many many cruise and usually do not go to the shows. The entertaim=nment on this ship was far and away the best I have ever seen. The variety, the quality & the enjoyability were suburb. Some of the standouts were the Resident Artists and Patricia the Chello player.
Pros: Even thought the ship was almost full, there was never a problem getting a chaise loung, getting in any pools or jacuzzis or any lines anywhere
Cons: The ship was so fantastic you really didn't care about any of the ports
