Service and food in the restaurants were good but on several occasions the wait for coffee was too long. The food in the buffet was good but the wait for the pasta station was way too long. The bartenders in the lounges were very good especially in the Atrium lounge. Our stateroom attendant was excellent. Friends of ours had the beverage package and had a problem with ordering an Irish Coffee. One bar was charging an upgrade for using Starbucks coffee but it was supposed to be included in the package.
Pros: Ports and excursions were excellent as was the casino
Cons: Foul odor in my hallway and by the Bliss lounge

My wife and I traveled and cruised with a group of about 130 people that we know and are friends with. We were celebrating our 46 wedding anniversary and you guys made it special by posting a large sign on our cabin door and added a few other extras along the way. Nice cabin and steward to attend to our clean cabin. The dinning and gym areas were clean and well attended. The work out items were cycled by everyone and the casino stayed busy. The ships entertainment staffing was young and energetic supplying great shows for everyones enjoyment. The ship was always busy and available for everyones enjoyment.
Pros: Smooth, Very Nice Cruise and No Storms
Cons: A Little too Hot and Muggy

Staff was wonderful as always. Immaculate in all areas. Will be cruising soon again. The classical music in Atrium bar was tiring after awhile.
Pros: Staff are the best.
Cons: Disappointed they changed the liquor level meaning no grey goose with liquor package. Worst was the bars ran out of the next level titis so was not happy with that.

Fun trip. Our first time with NCL, and would definitely use them again on another venue. We're Diamond level with Royal Caribbean, and I would say NCL out performs them in many ways, especially with the talent of the evening shows. We actually scheduled our evenings to be sure we did not miss one. Nice job!
Pros: Wonderful trip, excellent service, great food, quality beverages for the all-inclusive beverage program, very reasonable prices for the specialty dining options, suburb cabin services, and of course, great trip through the canal and the 6 shore excursions between LA and Miami.
Cons: Suggest the specialty restaurants decorate more to the style of the cuisine; Italian, Brazilian, French, along with background music and dress code for the staff.

We had the greatest time on the Sun. It was our first time on a cruise, first time to visit Alaska and this trip set the bar very high for our future travel. The food was varied, plentiful, and inviting. The service staff left nothing to be desired and were always available to provide any missing or desired items. Caution should be used around using the WiFi on the ship. Even though you don't sign up to use their on-board network, I was charged via "roaming' charges by the ship to my carrier who passed it on to me. Excursions were super and were as high class as the ship. Whale watching, train rides, and port tours were all set up by the ship and were as expected -- EXELLENT!
Pros: Beautiful Ship, food, staff and amenities!
Cons: WiFi is expensive
