Freedom of the Seas
This was my first cruise on Freedom of the Seas, after having cruised primarily Oasis class ships before. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the size of the ship felt in terms of being able to very easily get from one place to another. Another nice benefit I saw compared to Oasis class ships was the views of the ocean that many of the specialty dining and other venues like the Schooner Bar and Boleros had. All of those venues on the Oasis class are internal and don't have any view of the outside, and thus you can sometimes loose the feel of being on a cruise, and you miss the wonderful views during the times that you are in those places. The staff was always friendly and helpful, especially the stateroom attendant, Achmad, and many of the casino staff, including one of the pit bosses named Ace. I will definitely try to cruise on Freedom of the Seas again.
Pros: Recently amplified, so a lot of the modern and new features and venues. Great views in almost all of the venues. Unique helipad on the bow for even more unique viewing. Friendly and helpful staff. Great tasting food.
Cons: Cabins look a bit dated. Smaller, so not as many choices for specialty dining and complimentary dining.

Had a long wait for wine or alcohol in dining room. Impossible to get seltzer or club soda(just in dining room)

Freedom of the Seas
It was an experience that my family will remember for a lifetime. The only issue I had was with the dinner seating. We were a party of 16 and they divided us into two tables of 9 and 7. At first I asked for one big table which they were willing to do but stressed that others have not been happy when tables were so large (cold food, slow service). I did decide to leave it as it was set. On hindsight it would have been better to have a table of 10 and 6 so that my two children and 6 grandchildren could have sat all together. As it was, they had to be split. Other than this issue, which I have to admit they were willing to rectify, it was the best time! Royal Caribbean is the cruiseline that I prefer over all others.
Pros: Service, very clean, good entertainment.
Cons: Dinner seating. We were a party of 16 and they separated us into two tables.

Freedom of the Seas
Would definitely recommend Royal Caribbean to anybody considering a cruise vacation.
Pros: The ship was beautiful, it included fun amenities and tons of entertainment and things to do. As always, the service was superb both in the main dinning room and stateroom. We also had lots of fun @ port excursions.
Cons: Internet service was very slow most of the time.
